I remember the days when developers would be happy with 49p for their apps. It’s sad that my options and life-choices are being eroded by people I don’t even know. But with phone companies sucking away at my privacy, and greedy developers, I’m seriously considering not bothering with another smartphone. It makes me wonder why I even own a smartphone. I struggle to find apps now, because I refuse to pay IAP’s. I need that money to pay the gas bill, and things that keep me alive.
It’s just not necessary enough to empty the contents of my bank account. Which is a little shortsighted, because this app is good. You may have gained a few $$ for now, but you’ve lost just as much for being greedy. I’m absolutely sure there are many 1000’s that think the same way. I payed for the app, so I guess I’m lucky (for now !!!), but I wouldn’t have even considered downloading it if I’d have to pay a subscription.
